"Pro-shippers", once called "anti-antis" are people opposing the "anti-shipper" movement in fandom culture. Commonly mistaken for "problematic shipper", proship is the belief that no work of fiction should be censored or chased away unless under fair circumstances (i.e bigoted propoganda).

Note that not all proshippers enjoy dark media or condone it. Proship is simply the belief that people should not be harassed or belittled for their tastes and creations in fiction, as long as it is strictly fictional.
Comship, standing for "complicated ship", is the umbrella for both darkship and lightship. Complicated ships are fictional pairings that aren't always problematic, but may be considered unusual or unconventional. Comshippers are not inherently linked to darkship or proship. However, a comshipper that does not darkship is considered a lightshipper.

Note that not all comshippers support or condone darkship, and some comshippers are antis.
Darkships are fictional pairings that are mildly to borderline taboo, problematic, or offensive in nature. These pairings may be used for fictional outlets, also known medically as Fantasy/Fictional Sexual Material, for a variety of reasons. This may include paraphilic fantasies, frustration, or trauma.
It's important to remember that these pairings are strictly fictional. Any sort of pairing that crosses the boundaries of fiction (i.e. real person/people fiction) is NOT darkshipping, and is not supported by a majority of the darkship community.

Profiction is the belief that fiction doesn't dirctly affect reality, and what a person enjoys in fiction does not translate to what they enjoy in real life.
Profiction is related to the "pro-ship" (pro-shipping) mindset, which advocates for the freedom to write and enjoy any fictional relationship or content, even those considered unhealthy or unethical in real life, based on the belief that fiction does not directly influence reality

Profiction does not mean someone enjoys or is infatuated with dark fiction. The same notes apply to profic from the proship section.
Neushippers are fans or people who are neutral on ship discourse. These people may have varied stances on ship discourse, but commonly seem to agree and/or disagree with both sides, and feel dubious or uncertain about their stance on fiction.
Neushippers are not always anti-leaning or proship-leaning. If you have either communities on your DNI, it's safe to make sure what side they lean to the most.
Neushippers are usually lumped in with proshippers due to their lack of stance in discourse.

Note that some neushippers may be proship or antiship, and use the label out of fear of disapproval or violence. It's important not to harass these people- or anyone in general- over their stance on fiction, as it can have serious negative effects, including depression, papranoia, and symptoms of OCD.
Lightships are complicated ships that are not necessarily problematic or offensive in nature, but may still appear unusual or out of the ordinary. Lightshippers are usually antiship or neuship, but can also be proship.
(I.e; human x monster, human x god, enemies to lovers)
Also known as fancops or fanpolice, antishippers are people who hate or are triggered by proship/darkship content.
These people are typically pro-harassment towards proshippers and darkshippers, but it's important to remember that not all antis are pro-harassment.

An anti-shipper who is additionally or specifically against comshipping, commonly believing that comships count as darkships. These people are usually anti-darkship.

The belief that fiction affects reality and what a Profic person may like in fiction translates to what they like in reality.
This term is used both for antis and predators.
